Mercury sable keep running hot i changed the hose and the thermostat what should i do now?

Check the water flow first. Check the fan by turning on the A/C. Does your heater work? This means water is flowing. If not, and you have water, it's vapor locked and you have to bleed the coolant. You'll see the bleed valve on top. So, when engine is cool, open the valve, run the car, air should escape as water circulates, you may need to add more as it runs, close valve and close the cap. Keep in mind that this procedure may have to be repeated so keep an eye on the gauge.

follow your top radiator hose to the engine there should be a metal thing attached with 2 bolts, take them out remove the thermostat either replace the gasket or use high temp silicone to reseal it after you put in the thermostat pointed end up

My heater blows cold air when car is stopped. i have installed a new water pump and the radiator is full of water.

you still have air trapped in the cooling system. Get front of car as high up as you can on a hill. Cold engine - loosen radiator cap, fill with 50/50 antifreeze mix. Start engine and run until upper radiator hose is hot (thermostat open). Engine should burp air and maybe spill some coolant, that's ok. Once burped, tighten cap, shut off engine and let it cool down while keeping the reservoir full. It will **** coolant out of reservoir as it cools. Keep it full.

If still cold air, take to a shop that has evac/fill equipment; they will **** air out and repalce with coolant. About $80.

1995 mercury sable engine electric fans will not come on. When sensor is unplugged they will work. But when sensor is plugged in the engine runs hot and fans will not work. What is problem

Check to see if the top and bottom hose are the same temperature when the car is running. If the bottom hose is cold than you have a ciculation problem. At the same time see if the top hose is hard. If not than you may want to replace the radiator cap which will hinder the circulation of your coolant, which could also keep the fan from working. Also a bad thermostat could stop the circulation. a bad water pump could affect the circulation. All I can say is go with the cap first than the thermostat. If you unplug the sensor and the fan comes on than the relay is working.Hope this helps some leave a comment.

Start with engine cool. Remove rad cap, top up coolant, start engine, & turn on heater (not defrost). let it run until up to normal operating temperature & radiator fan comes on, then shuts off. Let it do this about 3 times before you put rad cap back on & top up return bottle to proper level. Every once in a while, rev engine slightly for a few seconds while your doing it, to speed up bleed by increasing flow. Keep an eye on temperature gauge for too hot, and fan not coming on, if so, shut it off.

The blend door that regulates the airflow over the heater core may be stuck in the AC position. It is inside the case and is most difficult to get to. There may be a YouTube video that may help you locate it and test it.
