First get a repair manual from parts store. & before you leave get a steering wheel and lock plate puller, also your new tumbler. them follow the proceedure in your book for changing your lock cylinder. good luck.

I have a 89 altima cant get the key out iof the ignition and doors wont lock because of it

Try jiggling the shifter into park, and turning the wheel back and forth, it may be a dog in the tumbler in which case you'll need to change out the ignition lock.
