ABS sensor on front wheels might have broken wire causing light to come on

Most likely that one of the ABS Wheel Sensors is disconnected or got damaged during repairs that you made. Check connectors for ABS wheel sensors at front brakes. If look ok, you need to check computer codes to know which sensor is damaged and replace sensor.

This is a common problem with the Sequoia only thing is you have to get the dealer to repair this because it takes special diagnostic & calibrating equipment to do this .....

have whomever replaced the brakes look into it. seems related. Also is the abs light on as well? usually both lights come on together related to anti-lock braking and traction control.

Sounds to me like someone has perhaps knocked the ABS sensor while working on the brakes. The ECU in these cars interlinks various stability and braking components. Go back to the service center and ask them to put a code reader on the car and get a read out. It may only require that they reset the fault codes, but do not delay. On some Lexus vehicles these lights will also come on when the battery has been disconnected and there will be a reset for the programs, but the TRAC off light has never come on on my 2001 when doing brakes or battery swap.

You need to have the wheel speed sensors checked. If one is not reading the proper rPM of the wheels, it thinks that the other wheel is spinning, and the TRAC applies the brakes on that side.
A good tech with a good scan tool might be able to read the sensors, but, a Toyota tech is your best bet.

There is no ABS brake light. Take the vehicle back to whatever service center/garage did the brake work and tell them to fix it.

The problem is one of the front hubs. I have a 2000 buick lesabre and a 2002 grandam that had the problem. Its a GM thing I guess
