The lights were left on in the car and ran...
The lights were left on in the car and ran the battery down since then the battery light stays on i have had the alternator changed and the battery checked, battery is good but the light will not go off and battery won't stay charged.

- No i was told the battery is good but they couldn't tell me if the alternator was good but i did have it repalced but this hasn't resolved the issue. The battery isn't staying charges within 2 days after a full charge it drops down to about 11.3 volts. The battery light on the dashboard will not go off.

Did they confirm that alternator is charging battery or just that alternator is putting out a charge?

this symptom is asociated with the lights relay or the light switch.
