Question about 1998 Lincoln Navigator
Fuse #3 doesn't even show as related to the parking lights, but the guy at the parts store installed a new fuse there to run diagnostics which led to parking lights that would not turn off.
Loaned it out that day and it ended up being left until the battery died. Removed the fuse and jumped the battery, however that ended up leading to other problems. At least I think it did because the timing was immediate.
My rear air ride went haywire right after that. Had to bring it home from the shop because I think they'll test and blame the compressor when I still think it's not just a coincidence that the air ride problem came up immediately when someone was messing with the fuses and they were near the battery recharging it. Seems logical that it's an electrical mess.... I just hope I don't have to go through a huge ordeal to figure it out. Any advice on where to start considering the connections between the problems?
I would say the light switch has a direct short, thats why the fuse blew in first place. they prob put biggeg fuse in to keep it from blowing. all good untill that shorted energy starts finding new places to ground or short out. always go back to original issue to find prob. good luck.
