Your water pump is on the front of the engine right in the middle regardless of what motor you have

My 1984 camaro z28 keeps flooding. when i turn off the ignition key, the fuel keeps pouring fuel into the carb.

possibly a malfunction in the computer that controls the 1984 camaros carb would close the carburetor completely, cutting off the fuel supply or leaving the carburetor completely open, flooding the engine and causing it to stall or flodding the engine at shut off

Im trying to find out where the fuel pump is on a 1984 chevy camaro with the 2.8 6 cylinder engine

It is inside the fuel tank. To replace it you will need to remove the tank as the fuel pump access is from the top of the tank. If your going to replace it yourself I would recommend buying a manual from you local parts store.

How do I change belt pulleys? Could a loosew belt cause the car to overheat?

Yes, a loose belt can cause a car to overheat. On some cars (likely that one, too) the belt drives the fan and the water pump.

AutoZone.com has repair manuals that should tell you step-by-step how to do this. You'll need the year, make, model, and engine size of the car to be sure.
