Remove the coilpack on the top back side of the motor and you can reach right over the top to get at them

My 2003 ford expedition reads a code 0303= 3 cylinder misfire, which side of my vehicle would that be on and could replacing ignition coil and spark plug fix it and stop the lose of power and hesitation?

Third cylinder back on the passenger side. I'd recommend changing all 8 coils and spark plugs. These coils don't last long, and once one goes, more will fail soon after. This job also requires removing the fuel rail to gain access to the coil and plugs. I personally have the same SUV and went through the same issue!!

How many spark plugs do the 2001 chrysler sebring have and how do i get to them all to change?

THE CHRYSLER SEBRING HAS 2.5 - 2.7 - 3.0 ENGINES THEY ALL HAVE 6 SPARK PLUGS. ON THE 2.5 AND 3.0L ENGINES TO GET TO SPARK PLUGS YOU HAVE TO REMOVE UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD FOR ACCESS THE SPARK PLUGS IN THE REAR CYLINDER BANK.THE 2.7L ENGINE WITH COIL OVER PLUG DISCONNECT THE COIL CONNECTOR AND REMOVE THE BOLTS THEN LIFT THE COIL OFF FOR ACCESS TO THE SPARK PLUG.

How do change spark plugs on a 1998 xj8

Remove plastic cover over the engine ( three screws).
You then have access to the front three spark plugs (cylinders 1,3,5) remove the nut which holds down the independant coils and remove the spark plugs, fit new spark plugs and fit coils on the three front cylinders.
Now it gets a little tricky, you will only be able to access number 2 back cylinder so you have to remove the induction manifold (12 bolts I think) to access the back three cylinders (2,3,6,) properly.
Then proceed as with the front three spark plugs, refit manifold and plastic cover,

How do I change the back 3 spark plugs on a 2002 Ford Taurus SES. What needs to come off to access these plugs.

I am assuming you have the 3.0L Duratec engine. Although the job seems daunting, it's actually easier to remove the upper half of the intake manifold plenum. This took me about 40 minutes to remove the first time I did it, and leaves the rear three spark plugs wide open.

A good repair manual such as the Chilton's manual for the 1996-2005 Ford Taurus has the step-by-step. You should get a new set of intake plenum seals (from Ford or most auto parts stores, which may have to special order them) along with the spark plugs. The seals are a set oval rings made of silicone rubber. Yours may not need them but if you damage one getting the plenum off, or if they have shrunk with age, you'll be glad you got them. They're about $16 a set.

Changing spark plugs in my 1996 lumina van with 3.4L engine w a/c it looks like a bear of a job, cant even see plugs from under neith

To access you rear plugs, you need to disconnect the front top engine mount, then put the vehicle in neutral and pull the engine forward (with a large pry bar) and lock the engine to the mount base using the engine mount bolt. Don't forget to chock your wheels so the vehicle doesn't roll away. And really, the job isn't difficult at all.

CHANGING SPARK PLUGS FOR 1997 OLDSMOBILE AURORA

Very easy process but takes a little time. Remove plastic cover on top of engine to uncover wires going back to ignition coils. Remove plug wire and trace back to coil. Remove and replace spark plugs on at a time, same with wires. Spark plugs need .5 gap. good luck

Changing back spark plugs underneath engine cover

I'm fairly certain those motors require the upper intake manifold be removed to gain access to the rear spark plugs. You might be better off bringing it to a qualified technician as it gets fairly involved. If i remember correctly it's about a 2 hour job and requires a few gaskets.

Changing Spark Plugs

assuming you can get access to the plugs, then it is just a case of pulling the lead of, near to the cap as possible, then unscrewing the sparkplug with a deep socket
