Question about 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee
That click you hear is the solenoid trying to engage the starter.
The first step is to make sure there is enough voltage. Get a jump and try it again. If it starts, either a low battery or connectivity is the problem. Check voltage. Check that the terminals are clean and tight. Check the cables.
Second step is the starter. Try the first steps first. Let me know what happens.

You have either a dead battery or a defective starter. RTemove take to shop have bench tested.
