You will have to remove glovebox and possibly dash panel to access the cabin filter compartment. Once you get the screws out and open the door, you then can pull out and exchange the filter

SOURCE: Greetings, I want to know

it will be behind the glove box .
Open the glove box push in on the sides and the glove box will come out the bottom hinge will hold it on behind that. There will be a plastic cover with 4 plastic tabs push them in pull the cover off and there is your Cabin Air filter.
there should be a diagram in your owners manual.
if this was helpful please give it a thumbs up to help others.

SOURCE: cabin air filter replacement

The cabin air filter is located under the cowl. Open the hood, proceed to the passenger side of the car and you will see where the right side wiper is resting, under the black plastic cowl there the cabin filter is.

SOURCE: location of cabin filter

In 2000 they did not come with cabin filters. However, you can convert to a cabin filter if you like. IF you would like to verify that you do not have one then do the following:

All You Have To Do Is Remove The Passenger Side Underdash Panel Which Reveals The Blower Motor Area. It's Kind Of Hard To See Up So You May Need To Use A Mirror, But You Will See A Formed Plastic Outline.

Q: How do you replace the cabin filter on a 2002 Lincoln Navigator?

Our research indicates that your vehicle does not have a cabin air filter (also known as a pollen or AC filter). Vehicles without cabin air filters typically have a plastic mesh that prevents leaves and other foreign objects from entering the HVAC system. This mesh is part of the vehicle and does not need to be changed.

Where is my cabin air filter on my 2003 lincoln town car

For instructions go to www.micronAir.com you can print ut the instructions.
If you go to micronair.com and try to find the instructions for changing a lincoln ls cabin filter you will be disappointed because the lincoln is not one of the cars found on this list. A general search of lincoln ls & cabin filter will yeild many results with the pertinent information.
Once on www.micronAir.com, click on the US section at the top of the page.
There you will find Lincolns. I did.

Assuming that you mean the cabin air filter, it would be under the cowl (under the hood, just below the windshield) on the passenger side.
