Question about 2005 Ford Freestyle
I have a 2005 Freestyle and the ac just wouldn't get cold, it would cool, but not get cold. I took it to my friendly repair station and it was the compressor, the high was reading low and the low was reading high. I only have 56K miles on this car!! The entire compressor needed to be replaced.
Anyone out there with the same problem? I am very ********** about this, I still have a lot of life left in this car--I have never had to replace a compressor in any of my cars, not even the last car I had with 125K miles on it...the ac was cold, cold, cold.....
I wrote to Ford and they blew me off---this WILL be my last Ford!
Replace the temperture sending unit located next to where the thermostat is located.
