Is there a number on transmission to tell if it's the original transmission. 2006 mazda 3

Check the Automatic Transmission level, but you may have solenoids that are failing.

It has known transmission issues.

Check for proper transmission fluid level. If that is ok, then the tranny is in need of servicing.

You'll find the sensor behind the firewall on the axle. To replace it, use a jack to raise the car and reach the sensor (on the driver's side). Remember to drain out the transmission fluid before you begin.

there are error codes so the scanner in use is not compatible with Mazda protocol

if u look in the hand book it will show u how to reset the lights

i do have the same problem and i took the car to 5 differant mechanic an dget no solution the aaamco the petboys the mazda dealer another transmission specialist please let me know if u have any solution

most likely battery is still low. I have a mazda mpv it does the same thing i still have to jump it.

Have your fuel pump checked out. If the battery is fine, then it's probably the fuel pump.

your engine # if it is original engine is encoded in your vin #or stamped on the block of the engine more often than not if its a foreign manufacturer its on the back of the engine toward top just under the area where the head sits
