There are two locations for fuse boxes on a 2005 Cobalt. 1) is under the hood, on the driver's side, under the jump start contact. 2) is inside the center console, on the right side. The forward part of the console kick panel has a press-opening panel, which, when removed, reveals the fuse box.
The 2005 Cobalt is fuel injected. It does not have a carburetor. If you are looking for the fuel injector it will depend on if it is thorottle body injected or direct port injection. Typically they are throttle body fed cars. Follow the air cleaner box up and the aluminum .housing will have the fuel injector in in.
I don't think you want to have to be pulling and installing a fuse all the time. Have a power disconnect installed on the car where you can flip a switch and be ready to go.
The IAT sensor is most of the time located along the intake tube right after Between the throttle body and MAP sensor. Just follow your air intake tube from your air filter housing to the Throttle body.
Good luck.
there is a problem with the fuses getting wet under the hood, it has been causing alot of problems with headlights you may want to check there for anything
