Hey I literally just today had the same problem, put a new bulb in the light was on but did not blink!!!! SUPER EASY SOLUTION, you simply have the bulb in too far. I gently pulled mine out a tiny bit and it started working fine... guarantee that's all that's happening to you!!!

How to replace hazard switch

Its just a button more less behind the hazard button is a relay with wires running into it this is what you want to change. pull the bezel off from around the radio. unplug the wires to the hazard and cig lighter. Then do the swap. Ps if your changing it out because of the random clicking after using your signals you have to remove the signal lever from the dash and spray it out with electrical cleaner. you dont need to pull the steering wheel for this and it will solve the random clicking defect.

the hazard button is the relay for both the turn signals and the hazards. you have to remove the trim panel that the hazard switch and radio are in pull it out of the back of that panel

The turn signals on my grand prix wont work all bulbs and fuses are good .. this all happened after i used the hazards....

the hazard flasher switch and turn signals are all operated by the same flasher unit, there is a factory recall on this problem, call and see if your year and model is under the program before u buy the rather expensive flasher, it is solid state and very common cause of this problem, replace the flasher unit, it is about center of the dash behind the convenience center, the hazard flasher button is part of the unitized flasher.

My turn signals do not work all of the time on my 2002 pontiac grand am

the relay for the turn signals and hazards is located behind the the hazard button and it 's bad. Pull off the trim that covers the heat controls and radio to get to it.

I have a 2003 aztec, the stop lights and harzzard, and turn signals are not working

Aright.
i have a pontiac grand am 2001
and behind/ on top of the radio there are these plugs that hook up to the hazard button and the traction button .
when you unhook those none of those things work either
i suggest getting a new switch for the hazard button
that controls the turn signals too
thats what i did and it worked
i hope this works.

Got my stereo stolen out of my 2005 Grand Am, and now neither my turn signals or my hazard lights work. I looked for torn or pulled out wires, but the only four that were loose were all attached to a unit...

The only thing that should not be working would be the audible turn signal / hazard signal sound. When the turn signals are activated, the audio (radio) system generates a clicking sound that indicates the signals are working.
When the radio is missing, no sound is generated.
Are your turn signals working outside, but no sound or are the signals not working at all.
Let me know.
Regards,
