You don't disconnect the red wire (positive battery cable) , you disconnect the black wire (negative ) Did it spark when you connected again ? Besides that , to get the light to go out you have a qualified repair shop read the codes an fix the problem ,then the light will go off .

I am not sure what you are exactly asking about, but GM products do not have a fuel cutoff switch. The PCM sends power to the fuel pump to turn it on. The pump is turned off by the PCM when the airbags deploy.

Get the codes read to find the area of the faults causing limp mode

As a first course of action, I strongly suggest that you remove the positive battery connector of the car, let it sit for at least 5mins. then reconnect it again. This will reset the car's computer and can get your car back to it's normal operation.

It could be many things to be honest. It could be a fuel issue. Check the fuel pump and filter. Make sure you hear the pump kick on. Even though it kicks on, it might not be putting enough gas out. Check the current leaving the pump. It should be 12V. Check the filter and make sire it is not clogged. It could be the fuel injectors leaking or not working. Try looking at the plug wires and make sure none is damaged. You might have an issue there. Check the distributor cap for the contact points. It might need replaced. I believe it is lack of spark. Check your engine for spark. I am not leaning toward the gas but it is a possibility. If you could get a code, that is your best bet though. It could be the rotor or a timing belt/chain. There just is to many things it can be. The only way to find it is by checking each one. If you need anything, let me know. I am here to help.

Have a 2007 Buick Terrazza van with AC draining into interior compartment on both driver & passenger sides. Drain hose is clear.
