Ok when I have my heat fan on my 2006 dodge charger 2.17 it dont run hot but when I turn it off it do our when I turn on the ac it run hot

If the engine is running hot you may be low on coolant. Check this first. If coolant level ok, the rad fan may not be working to cool the engine. If the AC is operational, when you turn it on, the radiator fan should come on telling you the fan motor is ok. You still may have an issue with a fan control related to temperature. This can be caused by a fan relay/wiring/temp sensor/ecm. Make sure the thermostat is functioning properly as well

96 Probe GT. Fuel pump doesn't run when it should.

Does your car run? Some fuel pumps run quiet so you will need to get your ear close to the gas tank and have someone turn on the ignition. The pumps only run about 3 seconds when the ignition is turn on without starting the engine.

Car idles but does not turn on

If the car does not turn on it can`t possibly idle. You need to explain yourself better if you want a good diagnoses.Does the car start and run or does it turn over but will not start?By start this means it is running. If it runs then it is idling.Hope this helps.Get back to me and I`ll try to help you.

My security light is on and my car wont start

OK this is exactly what you have to do to solve this... listen carefully and do exactly as i say

Turn key to RUN let it on for 11 to 12 minutes then turn it to off BUT NOT TO BATTERY then turn it back to run for 11 to 12 minutes again then turn it off and once more turn it to run for 11 to 12 minutes totalling 3 times turn the key off for 30 seconds then proceed to start the car and it will start for you. IF YOU AT ANY TIME TURN THE KEY ON AND YOUR CAR CRANKS FOR EVEN A HALF SECOND YOU WILL NEED TO START OVER FROM POINT ONE

My 2007 ford focus, everytime I turn my car off the fan is still running for more than 15 minutes. Do I need to get my car serviced and will it run my battery down?

I wouldn'tworry too much about the fan running after you turn off the vehicle, most newer cars are equipped to do that. As far as running your battery down, the power that the fan uses after the vehicle is turned off will actually run off the surface charge of the battery, you shouldn't have any problems with it draining your battery. Hope this helps.

Dodge dynasty electric fan doesn't turn off

On some vehicles, the fan will continue to run for a short time after turning the car off. But if it runs for more than 5 minutes you may have a bad sensor or stuck relay

Eletric fan runs when focus 16 tdci is turned off 2006 model

This is normal for a car that has an electric fan system for the cooling system. There is a sensor that operates based on engine temp. When you turn your vehicle off the coolant stops flowing and the water temp goes up in the engine block. The electric fan may run for approximately two or so minutes.
