Captiva LS 2016. Water color clear constantly dripping 10ml/ 6hr from across pipe near bottom of car

Water Definitely not from rain or carwash. Car under 100km

the washer fluid container has two pumps at bottom and the lines go upward towards engine {front and back }one may not be seated right --but your captiva should be covered under warranty for the unit if damaged or needs repair notify dealer because if you try to repair anything thats under warranty you can possible void such

If it does it when the a/c is on than its moisture/condensation from evaporator ---if it comes out of exhaust moisture from air being condensed and being pushed out by exhaust dont confuse with steam if steam white cloud which could mean engine /head gasket problems

Testimonial: "Thx for answer to Captiva LS water leak. But i even havent got the chance to use the aircon, got car for 2 days, and continuous dripping for 2 days. Notice the water in windscreen bottle has gone down a tiny bit (marked water level and parked for 10hr since). Also, is it a big job for mechanic to fix the leakage, be it loosen washer or crack or replacement?"

What pipe could be leaking if the water is dripping out on the driver side of the car in the front on the bottom of my 07 nissan altima 2.5s

Water would be a drain because any thing leaking would be some kind of fluid I.E. Coolant- oil-transmission-brake water would be from ac or rain drainage

What could cause engine misfire in heavy rain & carwash?

Ignition wiring system Error codes may identify more specifically. It could be as simple as a plug wire or distributor wire not installed tightly enough and water that normally would not enter the connection. Could be the Distributor cap is not on tight enough. and or the connection to the coil. Water usually affects the high voltage components. Double check all the spark wiring. I'd also take it to your favorite auto parts store for a code read.

How do I replace auto transmission fluid on captiva 2.0 D 2008?

Can't be sure for this particular car, but there should be a dipstick coming out of the transmission. This is often near the firewall, and is a bright color. The opening of the dipstick is also often large enough to allow for the transmission fluid to be filled from there. The drain plug will be under the car on the bottom of the transmission of course.

Sunroof drain clogged

You may be able to clear debris out by using a long thin rod and pushing it into the openings on the front of the sunroof drain channels the pouring some water in to make sure it drains properly sometimes the drain pipes become disconnected inside the headliner but try clearing the obstruction first and see what happens.

Pool of clear water on floor of garage overnite

ok , can I assume you run green, yellow, orange ,pink antifreeze
in the radiator, not pure water, and check AF every fall for 50% consenstrations? yes.
then that water is normal Airconditioning condensate water that all cars drop to the ground. pure water it is.
THE A/C runs when you ask for COLD or Defrost.(front)
and works just like a cold beer glass in a humid tavern. it drips.

Check the door rubber seal for flat spots or maybe something stuck to it causing water to get past it.

Where are the drains in my 2000 beetle ? I have a puddle of water under passenger seat !

Drill a 3/8 th hole through the floor at the lowest point then look for the water leak ,is the AC drain pipe clear as this is the most obvious point of entry and the AC condensate will run into car if this pipe is blocked

2002 Camry. lots of water sitting back left (passenger) side after rain. A/C okay, spare tyre well and trunk dry, no plugs missing. No lights with water in. Windows up. No rust. Any clues? Thinking of...

Have you checked the bottom of the car? Maybe you have a rust problem.

Also get a jug of water and have someone pour as you sit there. IF that doesnt work, take a friend to the carwash and sit inside when water gun is spraying. These are relatively cheap checks for you.

Slight leak from bottom of radiator

Transmission fluid will be red in color. Radiator antifreeze will be a different color either lime or orange. Antifreeze has a slimy consistency while trans fluid is simply oily. Put a piece of cardboard under the engine to see if you can pinpoint exactly where it is coming from. Could it be condensation from the a/c? If so, that will be clear water.

Leakage under glove compartment

Open the hood and on the right side near the firewall you'll see the fresh air intake for the climate control system (heating and ac). Locate the grate which is about the size of a loaf of bread and has fins which run up to the bottom of the windshield. You'll find a foam seal which has deteriorated and will let water into the ac system if it blown in just right. Remove the crappy seal and caulk one side with a thick bead of silicon replace the grate and if you broke the connectors just glue them back with silicon also, use some masking tape to hold it down until the silicon sets. Guaranteed that's where your leak is.
