I don't have a lot of experience diagnosing such faults. I think live data would be more useful than just fault codes which tend to send the inexperienced down false trails.

Lambda responses are only reliable when the other engine components are working optimally. If an injector is dribbling a little for instance, a fair percentage of that fuel will cause the lambda to react to a rich mixture and the management will shorten the injector pulses effectively making the engine run weak.

I suggest you check the precise function of the light that illuminates as some vehicles have more than one light for check engine and emission purposes.

I would also suggest you follow best practice and ensure the maintenance is up to date and competently carried out before proceeding further and carry out a thorough visual inspection of pipes. wires and cables and connections in the engine compartment.

An experienced eye using a good scanner to view live data will be the best way to a successful diagnosis.

Rover workshop manual

You would be better off buying the Haynes manual that covers all aspects of the vehicle. If you can afford a Range Rover Vogue, you can afford the $30 odd for a manual

Suspension issue with my RR

The system has a ride control module (computer) you must take it to the Rolls dealer service dept and have the systems control and monitoring computer memory read to see what fault code or codes are stored for the light you say you see on come on while driving. Once the code is read a technician using special equipment will perform the appropriate diagnostics and repair the cause of the problem.
