Let's get this straight , in mechanic terms that we can under stand . The engine turns over when you turn the key to the start position ,but will not start an run ! Is this correct ? More then likely fuel or spark but could be a clogged air filter if you never replaced it before ! Pull a plug wire or coil if your vehicle has coil on plug ignition system , use a spark tester an crank the engine . Is there spark ? Spray carburetor cleaner into the throttle plate an crank the engine , does it try to start ? if not fuel pump problem or electrical .

Your best bet would be to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop ! Wouldn't want you to get hurt or cause any damage to your vehicle from not knowing how to trouble shoot a no start problem . Your vehicle is very complex , computers an electrical circuits for various sensors .

The battery is good but it wont start

It may be the solenoid (electro-magnetic clamp) that engages the starter motor with the flywheel to start the car. Unfortunately, this usually involves replacing the entire starter.

I have a 2008 Pontiac G6 and it came with a remote keyless entry and remote start and the remote start is no longer working. When I try to start it the lights flash and the dash lights come on but it does...

I think that the module for the remote start is bad, possibly the connection to the starter circuit is bad.

I would take the vehicle to an auto electric service shop in your area that installs remote starters to diagnose and repair the problem.
