Question about 2000 Buick LeSabre
I was recently in and accident and my car was totaled and basically i want to try to fix it piece by piece at home if possible. i guess my question is would removing the old fenders and replacing them be something i could do at home? i also need to get the lights mounted along with header panel which would make the car drivable. i have minimal auto experience and no body work experience.i also need to know if there are any special tool i would need.
This is an easy thing you can do your self. Go to an auto store or Costco/Sams and spend $100s on a tool kit. Get one with wrenchs, socket and a screwdriver set. A can of wd40 a hammer and you should be good to go. I would go to a recycle yard and find one that lets you remove the parts your self, find the right model and start taking things off that you need. Do it this way and it will help you understand the process of what needs to removed in order. Take your time and buy a small fishing tackle box to put the smaller parts like nuts bolts and clips.Good luck
