Question about 2004 Jaguar X-Type

Remote locking dont work occasinally

The remote control locking does't work always, sometimes it works, sometimes not. Mostly the problem is that the doors don't get locked, but recently the opening is "dead" as well. I notised that when the remote locking does not work I but electricity on (not started the engine but just turn the electricity on and off) and then off, then the remote locking works. Stange system!!!

Change the battery in your remote--if this does not work, I suspect that the sensor is defective.

Well I assume you disconnected the battery to the car when repairing the switch..which is electronic. Mazda systems have to be reprogrammed after power interruptions or the whole system goes crazy. There is a weird sequence of ignition turns and door closures that is required in the program sequence. You will have to try to look it up or have a dealership give or do the sequence for you.

2002 Toyota Camry power door lock failure in higher temperature

look in the fuse box which is under the dash or in the engine compartment drivers side for the voltage relay fuse possibly square that powers the door motors and door locks . corrosion around relay or just bad relay replace and try power key lock release again and see if that works or first go into each door at a time and probe wire that leads to each door lock actuator motor and if you are getting proper current with helper pressing key to activate motor and proper current is displayed start replacing motors if intermittent wrong current or no current at each door checking with home meeter probing motor wire while helper is pressing key fob relay is bad and needs to be replaced. That is all i got good luck ps if all fails from that point replace key fob controler

My door locks sometimes work and sometimes dont. Even with the remote it doesnt unlock all the time.

Lock linkage needs lubrication inside the door or check the lock selenoid or switch.

Remotes worked great, then...The (RKE) remotes only worked sometimes. I thought the batteries where low so I replaced on both RKE remotes, then more problems. Sometimes it opens the doors, sometimes it...

Take it back to the dealer. Manufacturers have a code of practice that says that they warrant cars for three years on parts that not subject to normal wear and tear (brakes, tires etc). The problem is electrical and therefore not part of the component list subject to wear and tear. If you get no joy from the dealer take it up directly with GM. Buick have been building a reputation for reliability and quality construction so they should be keen to keep you happy on what is such a young car

check the fuse. if the remote only does not work, the remote needs recharged by the ignition. if its the locks its probably a fuse. check your manual for fusebox location
