Does anyone know if this is something common with these? Or How to fix without having to replace the lock? it has power locks and remote start.
Well if the lock actuator is bad you'll have no choice but to replace it ! An no there isn't anything common with these ,they do go bad ! An before replace parts you need to test the electrical circuit ,power an ground. If you don't know how to do that there are some good videos on youtube on basic automotive electrical testing an how to read a wiring diagram , because you need to know what wire is what ! Look at the latch has the lock moved into the locked position if it has use a screwdriver to push the latch back into open position if it is in open position than remove the panel to gain access to the latch look at the springs and clips if damaged or missing replace and reconnect than spray latch with lube it can be just stuck ---if bent or broken will need to unbolt and replace
