Un plug radiator switch - 1993 Toyota Tercel

Only drain the coolant through the drain plug located on the lower side of the radiator. There is no need to open the engine drain plug because the radiator drain is at the lowest end.

Check for a blown fuse----look at it & test it
Check for & TEST any fan relays-have to remove them to do so
Then unplug the cooling fan & put battery voltage to it

If the fuse is good,the relay works,the fan works,you may need
a wiring diagram & do some internet searching to find a temp sensor or switch--odds are it will be in the radiator or cooling system somewhere.

Check for wire connectors being off

Have to check the radiator for leaks & the coolant system
for leaks & at least partially remove the radiator, to get rid of
leaves & other road dibris,bird feathers & such

it may be the hose itself, or the radiator, or a nearby line that lead from the radiator to a heater core, or a broken plug in an un-used port, or even a bad radiator cap - it depends where the water is actually coming from. is it coming from the hose or from where the hose connects to the radiator, or is it pouring down from somewhere else and just pooling under the hose.

have you tried checking the fan relay, of the cooling fan sensor. if you have a tester you can un-plug fan and check if power going to fan sensor. good luck

key switch,remove center cap and pull steering wheel off with wheel puller.disconect horn,blinkers assembly.push pin remove ignition. ignition switch, remove panel under dash un bolt steering colum lower to seat un screw ignition from top steering colum un hook rod,un plug harnees put new one on put back together

Make sure your drain plug at the bottom of the radiator is tight and un damaged. The 2 aluminum lines are for your automatic transmission and should not be messed with.

most radiators have a screw plug on the bottom, you have to remove bottom cover and might have to use extension or needle nose pliers to un screw plug.

it is located at the lowest level of the radiator, and it looks like a miniature water tap. Be careful not to try to drain it when the coolant is very hot, you could get burned. You will need a very large container to hold the coolant, at least 6 gallons in size. You should be able to do it by hand if not carefully us a pair of pliers.
