If AC under hood gets cold then it could be the damper motor or the shaft it drives has split a common problem.

Still don't have the answer ton how I realease the pressure on the gas line on a 2005 dodge magnum

I'd probably pull the fuel pump relay, then try to start the engine, if it starts, it won't run for long with the fuel pump disabled.
If there is a Schrader valve on your fuel rail, under the hood, you could relieve pressure that way.
My fuel pressure gage has a pressure bleed-off valve on it. It seems more and more vehicles are doing away with Schrader valves on the fuel rail, I guess it is cheaper to manufacture w/o. Just makes it harder on everybody, in my opinion.

How to test to make sure fuel pump is getting power

You could check for fuel pressure at the injection rail assembly, especially if there is a Schrader valve on the rail. The Schrader valve looks like an air valve and operates the same way. Push in on the valve stem to see if fuel comes out under pressure. Have rags around the valve to catch the gas. Best is to attach a pressure gauge to the valve, and then you can read the pressure. Possibly Auto Zone or Advance will the gauge as a loaner. This will comfirm the fuel pump is working and providing the correct pressure.

Where do you add freon on a 2001 dodge intrepid

The proper way to charge the A/C system is to do a full recovery of the refridgerant and oil in the system using the machine at the service shop. It will cost about $100, but it worth not damaging your system, and having to pay upwards to $400 for an air compressor, etc.

If you still insist on doing this yourself, you hook the R132a kit up to the low side of your A/C system. If you have the 2.7 engine, standing in front of the vehicle, go to the left fender, there should be a schrader valve with a black cap on it under the positive battery jump terminal. If you have the 3.5 engine, right above the air compressor, you will see two caps. one with a H, and one with an L. take the cap off of the L schrader valve, that's the low side.

Turn your A/C switch on high before you start the charging process. I would highly suggest wearing safety glasses. If the refridgerant gets on your skin, it could cause frost bite.

I hope this helps

Have a 1986 F-350 A/C puts out cool air but not cold. Don't know if system is R12 or 134A. Compressor is centr and has 2 threaded black caps with schrader valves for gage connection plus 1 quick disconnect...

in 1986 it is r12 but you can convert to r134 which is a ton cheaper than paying for r12 you need a license to buy r12 r134 is right on the shelf at auto zone they also sell retro fit kits with everything you need to convert your system and they work very well

2001 Dodge 1500 4WD. A/C does not cool

Take it to your local agent to ensure that the coolant has not leaked out of your A/C unit. If there is a leak found, you will probably have change the exchange unit (because thats the most vulnerable item) These are available new, exchange or from a breakers yard, but you will still have to pay to have the system recharged.
