I have a 2001 Ford F250 superduty the light wont quit blinking 47

I have had this same problem after thorough checking it ended up being a bad steering box. after replacing the box it was fine

Either you may be using a key that you had copied from the original or your chip went bad in your original key. Most of cars now a days have the key censor in the key so if it is the incorrect key it will not start your car or if it does not read that chip it will not start

Powerstrokes do not have an accelerator cable. All fly-by-wire. Possibly the rheostat in the foot pedal going bad. Are the gauges functioning on the dash?

This is a common problem in F series pickups -- up under your dash above your fuse box or in that area is your (gem module) this controls your horn, speedo, ligths.ect.. most likely has water inside or moisture -- you may be able to take the top off of it and dry it out with a dryer...
