1998 Dodge grand caravan S.E. overheats only when using the A/C or in stop and go traffic.

Is the engine coolant at the correct level and with the correct mix of fluid to water? If that's ok, check the waterpump or radiator for a blockage with your dealer or local mechanic

1999 jeep grand cherokee. starts with a little help from stepping on the gas. will idle for 2 minutes the die. help please

With a code reader connected to the DTC connection, are there any trouble codes stored? Is there an engine light lit? You will need a code reader to at least start a diagnosis and also a fuel pressure gauge.

My pontiac is over heating, i have replace all hoses going to and from the radiator. I have also replaced the waterpump, and the thermostat. Its not leaking coolant, but its going thru it liek crazy...

You need to do a pressure test on each cylinder. If you find 2 that is low beside each other, that is a sign of a blown head gasket. If this is the 4 cylinder, they are a bad engine for that.

How to replace a crankshaft sensor on a 1999 pontiac grandprix

On the 3.8 engine it is on the front of the motor by the waterpump. Just unplug it, unbolt it and remove it. On the 3.4 engine, you have to remove the Power steering pump to get to the sensor.

How to replace hose coming off top of waterpump on a 1996 jeep v8

there should be clamps on both ends of the hose. just take off the clamps and twist the hose off and replace it. make sure car is cooled down, coolant can be very hot. like most cars, it might be very hard to get at the clamps , so be patient. good luck

Leaking coolant by pass.side-middle close to firewall. eng.temp gets hot

Sounds like the water pump, it will fling coolant as it leaks when the engine is running, also check the heater hoses and if coolant seems to come from the bottom of car and not the engine then it is a heater core leak.
