Question about Chrysler Town and Country

1 Answer

I was wondering if Tyre pressures would vary for Make and Model or if it is just dependant on what the Service and Maintenance books say for the car. For instant my Chrysler Cirrus 2000 says the tire should be at 30 PSI but the information on the web says the Hankook Milage Plus 2 P165 tire should be about 35 to 38PSI and thw wall of the tire says 44PSI (which seems really really high. Does anyone have any idea ? Than you.Matt

The sticker in the door tell you pressure for orig tires. The 44psi is max. Go by what manufactor tell you. I always run at 34-36 psi. Unless there is alot of extra weight added to car. Then I would go to 38psi. But for your car I would run 35psi.

What i believe is the run-flat symbol has come on... but how do i know it is in fact a puncture? The tyres appear to be fine and not even low on air.

They are uneven in pressure, check and adjust pressures as per manufacturer and reset tyre indicator as per your vehicle hand book. Cannot explain it here as there are different resets depending on model of BMW.

ALL tyre pressures should be on a sticker in the door piller ,or in with the spare wheel and if not it will be in the service book but if all else fails then go to the TYRE people and ask the experts.
Its that easy..

Tyre pressure

Tire pressure should be indicated on the tires you purchased. it indicates the ideal tire pressure for those tires and it's unsafe to ignore them. but if you do less pressure will give you more grip.
