you can wire in a TP auto into a TN ..its been done
you should have a round plug TN automatic the three plug was the TP
this is the valve body on a TN and TP magna automatic
What did you do? lol Retrace your steps carefully because you must of forgot something. Is it turning over? If so, make sure your coil wire is connected.
You still safe there is three area that are protected when this happens , the fuseable link opens up, in the fuse box the ignition fuse, in the batter juntion box a fusable link or omega fuse, and starter fuse, 1990 suburban look at the starter for the omega or fuseable link
Make sure the engine is at TOP DEAD CENTER AND MARK THE COVER AND ENGINE ANYWHERE YOU CAN FOR REINSTALLMENT LATER. Use a pipe wrench and put it around pulley this will hold it while you get a clean socket and a breaker bar and snap off the crankshaft bolt. Once thats done get a long flat screw driver place it on the back of the pulley pull on it while moving the screw driver from side to side until the pulley falls off. Be careful of losing the woodruff key that is on the shaft and pulley.
It is the fusable link connector.
The green wires and red wires are the fusable links.
(If the is a magor short in the electrical system they are designed to act like a fuse and burn through instead of the rest of the trucks wiring.)
they just pop in on the mits model remove the neccesary bolts and **** it out one at a time though dont take both out or youll need a new trans to to put it back it firmly pop it in
