Question about 2004 Toyota Solara

2001 Toyota Solara windows and light display

I recently had my car boosted off and the radio, daytime headlights, and mileage display panel worked for about 2 seconds and then cut off. The boost off wasn't sucessful in starting the car so I had the battery recharged at autozone. The windows, radio, clock, winshield wipers, nor the daytime lights will work now. We have checked all fuses but nothing will work. Does anyone have any sugestions on what the problem could be?

why not say what works on radio.

all other lamps dead.(dials, etc)?
no sound only?
or tunes stations , i see it tune, scan works but sound is dead
post that, and the operators guide , shows where the RADIO fuse is
mostly in the cab fuse box.
inlines are aftermarket radios' not stock.

does it ask for CODE?
if yes ,the radio codes if not backed is a show stopper
dealer only fix. (big secret) or any certified, lock smith

I have a 99 solara se. I have new battery and alternator but the car can't carry a load. Ac lights heater radio so forth

Not sure I follow your problem.
The alternator puts out 13-14 volts at idle but very few amps. If you turn on the headlights at idle the voltage may drop to 12 until you raise engine speed. The amperage goes up with engine speed.
Is the battery voltage at least 14 when the engine speed is 1500RPM or more ?

check fuse panel first for blown fuse, second check your daytime running lights come on without flickering. if problem persists- all these are affected by headlight switch- controls interior lighting and headlamps and daytime driving lights

Check your fuse, sometimes integrated into other electrical parts of the vehicle. Possibly interior light fuse; cigarette lighter fuse; radio fuse?
