You'll have to raise the vehicle slightly off the ground so that you can fit underneath it. I use a set of ramps to accomplish this.

The drain protrudes through the firewall -- probably near to where the firewall meets the floor of the car. If you have a flashlight, it will be easy to identify from underneath the car because it will have a rubber elbow fitting on it that just points down toward the ground. Also, it should be dripping some water if the AC has been run recently (and if it is not completely plugged).

To clean out the drain, just pull off the rubber elbow and use a piece of wire to clear out any crud that might be in there. A straightened out wire clothes hangar will do the trick nicely.

If you don't want to do this yourself, just take it in for an oil change and ask if they can clean it out for you. The drain is easily accessible if the car is up on a hoist.

2001 grand prix will not start. New battery

Have you tried checking your ground wire? 1.Try taking each end apart giving it a good sanding to clean up to bare metal and try again. 2. The ground wire itself or other wires running to the coil, might need to be replaced. Try taking off individual wires and testing them with a 12 volt light bulb to see if current is still following through them. Good Luck.
