Passenger window not working

Yes , test the electrical circuit ! Find a wiring diagram at http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html free wiring diagrams . Do you have DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ? Do you know how to test volts ? Check for power at the passenger window switch . Go on you tube an watch a few different trouble shooting videos . How To Diagnose your Power Window Problem Is the Switch or motor bad Then test the circuit . Hope this helps you out .

Sounds like 1 of 2 things. Window regulator or the motor. Most of the time I see the window regulator not functioning correctly. Over time the regulator get stuck from debris and weather. You can try to take the door panel off to access it but your going to have to just play with it. BECAREFULL AND WATCH YOUR FINGERS!

You have to replace the broken window regulator

I doubt the dealer did a thing but took your money

You can't just put the so called clips back on, as they
are part of the regulator & are broken

Motor is not turning in second direction to lower window. Either the new motor is defective or the device that reverses the electricity to the motor is defective. Regulator?

Take motor out and feed it juice - will turn. Reverse polarity and it should turn in other direction.

if u have ck all fuses & relays& tried the passenger switch & still nothing,,could have broken wire between door & door jam where the rubber boot is ,,u mite have to peel it back to see wires

we had the same problem with our car had to have a new track installed at a glass shop they had to use some kind of special cement to hold it in place works fine now

window motor or window regulator. glass could also be off track.

If you look very closely, the motor does unscrew from the regulator. However, getting the regulator is a bi***. Remove all the bolts to loosen the regulator and carefully work it around towards the biggest opening. The neumatic little hose is bendable, but be careful. Prior to doing this, remove a switch from another door to elimate a faulty switch. The plug comes down from above. You need to stick your hand inside the door well to find it. If you need the regulator too. just go down to the junk yard and practice removing the motor and regulator.

CHECK THE SWITCH AND THE POWER SUPPLY TO THE SWITCH. ALSO CHECK THE WINDOW REGULATOR IN THE DOOR TO BE SURE THAT IT IS NOT BOUND UP.
