Wheel ballance is out!
just because they are new tyres does not mean they are able to be ballanced on your rims!
check for bulging in the tyres or wheel weights missing from rims

First we need to know where is the shaking noise coming from?Is your car a 4X4?If noise comes from a driven wheel it can be the differential system or bearing also.Usually the speed you have specified is pointing to wheel alignment problem. Also can advice to go to a different tire shop and check wheel alignment again, also ask the mechanic to check the state of your wheels and tires. One of them may be damaged .

I'm guesing you have had your tires balanced and wheels aligned. If this does not help, then you have a broken belt in one of your front tires.

Check tire pressure (all even), tire condition, tie rods and ends, ball joints and wheel alignment

Excessive steering wheel shaking

Most common indicators are. Wheel alignment ( not enough Castor adjustment) worn tie rod end/s Incorrect size tyres ( you have to have the rim sizes the same on both sides ) even though you noticed a difference Loose steering box / rack or worn rack mount rubbers Probably the noise under the floor as the rack is bashed up and down from the wobble. What you describe is castor wobble and some makers recommend 0 castor when in fact the setting should be 1/2 to 1 1/2 degree positive.

like a bad tire or out of round tire..it will make a slight thumping sound while driving..and maybe shake the entire car at low speeds or shake the steering if in front..

My Jeep shakes and rattles very hard between 50 and 60mph to the point where I have to stop and pull over...any ideas what it could be?

check tires for shifted belts, check front steering arms and tie rods, check front shocks, do the same checks for the rear. check for loose wheels and hubs.

I am purchasing a new set of Kumho tres for my Hyundai I30 as the present ones have done just on 60000 klms. The trye dealer has offered me wheel alignment front and back for $48.50 each! Is it worth doing...

I would recommend having a 4-wheel alignment done every time you replace your tires. It makes for better handling, steering, traction, and of course reduces unnecessary tire wear.

Steering wheel shakes above 40mph, what could be wrong 2006 f250 4x4 crew cab stock tires and wheels 100,000 miles also not much response in steering above 55mph

the wheel shaking sounds like a wheel balancing problem and the no steering response is either some loose ball joints or a bad gear it will need to go to the shop for both
