2002 Mitsubishi Lancer CE Man. All other guages work, only speedo no movement. Please help....
No make or model or year so here is a guess
if it is a cable driven speedo --replace the inner cable
if it is an automatic ---replace the VSS on a later car or the sender unit on an earlier model

there will be a electronic sender unit from the gear box to the speedo
If the odometer ( kilometer counter) is turning over it may be the speedo itself
being electronic, the internals are susceptible to oil from the gear box passing a small "O" ring seal which may be the problem
it may be possible to get another sender unit from the wreckers to check if yours is working or have an accredited service shop with experience on your make of vehicle to diagnose the problem and quote
