Question about 1996 Hyundai Sonata
Sounds like a low battery. Try jumpstarting it. If that fails then it could be the starter or the solenoid on the starter has gone out. You could also have a loose connection, check the battery wires and the heavy wire to the starter from the battery. Make sure there is no white and/or greenish powder around.
