How do i remove the timing belt pulley on a mazda 323 200e 8v FE engine please

The timing belt pulley is held on by the Centre crankshaft bolt and slides on with a key way. You may need to use a puller if it is stuck tight.

How difficult to change the water pump? Should I assume just releasing the fan belt, 4 bolts and it's off?

found this from answers.com.....1. Depressurize and drain the cooling system. 2. Loosen the alterantor adjustment and remove the belt. 3. Remove the water pump pulley. 4. Remove all the timing belt covers. 5. Loosen the timing (camshaft) belt tensioner and slip the timing belt off the camshaft toothed pulley (ensure you do not move the positon of the camshaft) 6. Unbolt the lower radiator hose fitting and heater retrun pipe. 7. Unbolt the waterpump from the block (5 bolts). 8. Remove all traces of the old gasket before mounting the new pump (Permatex spray on gasket remover works well). 9. Install the new pump and reassemble in reverse order to above.

1999 Mazda 626 squeals

It sounds like a the tensioner is going bad or your water pump bushing is at it's end. A backyard way to check is to remove your belts and rotate all the accesory pulleys by hand and feel for roughness. Try to move the pulley laterally to feel for play in the sideways motion. If there is any of the above, you have found your problem.

Need 2 replace fan belt for mazda 323f 1998

The belt runs on a number of pulleys. One of which is the bottom one, called the crankshaft pulley. This is the one rotating when engine runs, driving the other pulleys with the belt. The crankshaft pulley is not adjustable, so you need to follow the path of the belt around the other pulleys. One of these will be attached to some accessory like an alternator or a water or steering pump. If there is no independent tensioner pulley, one of these accessories will have some sort of tensioning device. Could be a slotted bracket, or a long tensioner bolt that moves the accessory up or down, thereby tightening or loosening the belt tension. When you see which one it is, loosen attaching bolts for that one, and adjust accordingly. TT

I need to replace my water pump

1 of 2 places , check to see if its running on your fan belt. if so its easy to replace. if you cant see it it means it located @ the timing belt, you will have to remove the timming cover and the timming belt, if you are willing to do so I can assist but it is difficult if you have no experiace. Why do you want to replace what seems to be the problem?
