If van came with it brand new you might have to the dealer you got it from to have that option turned on in the ECU ... Or it might not have been connected to the wire harness at the rear of the vehicles wiring harness .. Hope that helps ...

Best bet is to purchase an wiring harness adapter. It will plug into the car harness then you attach each wire from the adapter to the appropriate wire on the radio ( available online from ebay, amazon, sonic electronix, Metra online and dozens more or from any car audio store, most auto parts stores and even walmart). If you already cut the factory plug off in the car then go to Www.modifiedlife.com. they have an excellent resource of which wire does what...however you should verify that info yourself with a volt ohm meter.

Are you referring to the trucks wiring harness? I hope you purchased an integration harness. Your truck has a databus system and an integration harness is needed to maintain certain functions including door chimes, warning chimes, on star (if equupped) etc.
also the factory radio does not have a switched power lead to turn the radio power on with the key. That is also handled via databus.

The stereo pin layout can be obtained from the car dealership, also a repair manual should have the stereo wiring harness layout in it , the stereo harness adapter for installing non oem stereo, found at the local auto parts store will come with the wiring layout, wires are color coded too, sometimes the stereo harness or stereo harness adapter will have small writing on the wires itself, showing you what that wire is for, and where it should connect.

Basically it comes down to, obtaining the stereo wiring layout, read the description on the wires, and properly connect them together, then solder the wires or crimp them, I like to solder mine with soldering wire for electronics, and put shrink tubes to protect the wires, put the shrink tubes on the wires before soldering together, and ensure the shrink tube is the proper size awg wire gauge.

You will also need, aftermarket face adapter kit and antenna adapter, if installing aftermarket stereo.

If you buy a wiring harness that is specifically made for your car all you need to do is match up the colors.

Most aftermarket pioneer cd/radio decks have the electrical connector for the antenna that I've seen.

Is this a cd only deck, or does it have radio functions?

Did you use a new harness wiring adapter to get the pioneer radio to work with the old harness?
There should be a color coded set of wires for the power antenna on that. And, then the Pioneer radio should have wires that were labeled for the power antenna.

OK, if you are trying to put an aftermarket DEH-1200 MP radio into your car, they sell the radio adapter wires and plugs that will actually tell you what leads to connect to or speakers, power, and antenna actuator, etc.

You don't need a schematic to use this product, it comes with color coded wires with labels on them to tell guide you into a proper installation.
