This is a tricky answer. E 15 is a higher ethanol gasoline mixture and seeing as ethanol is semi corrosive it is highly dependent on your car. Most cars manufactured after 2007 are in the clear but there is no certain answer unless the manufacturer gives the green light. I have attached a great article detailing e-15 but I would recommend calling your local dealership, and asking them if your model is e-15 ready.

E-15 gas is only safe for some cars, you need to look into your owners manual, sometimes the car maker will even put a sticker next to the gas tank area saying you can use it or not.

E-15 if you do not know this already is at least 15% ethanol from corn, The plastics parts in your fuel system on most cars cannot take prolonged period of time being exposed to it. When gasoline was leaded the fuel pumps would last the life of the car or almost, Then they went to 10% ethanol and electric fuel pumps, The pumps last between 100 - 150 thousand miles on average, with 15% or more ethanol, these pumps and related fuel components are going to start failing quickly on cars with 100 thousand miles and less. There is a big push by the motorcycle community to stop E-15, because the fuel will kill a motorcycle in a couple of years, and when you pay $30k + on a nice bike, you don't want to put junk fuel in it. Hope this help you.

Motors stsrts but will not contunal to stay running

I would think so, if the security light is on the computer is not registering the key, try turning the ignition to the "on" position for 15 minutes and see of the security light goes out and then see if it will start.

My x5 3.0i 2006 t won't start this morning but temperature, gas level clock were wrong so I turn the engine off and restart a couple times it won't start and I saw message trans. false safe...

no. I'd suggest to disconnect a battery for 15 mins, reconnect, wait for 5 mins and try to restart. If it doesn't help (sometimes there's a program block to prevent stealing equipment) call a dealer

The warning light looks like an engine. The car drives normally, and there are no other lights on. The manual says it could be several things. Can you be more specific about the likely cause? Is it safe...

If a light is on that looks like an engine that's the "check engine" light. It means the computer has detected a problem. It could be as simple as a loose gas cap or more serious. Depending on the year of your car, there are lots of components that are monitored, and to say what made the light come on is anyones guess. If it is newer than 1996, it will be OBD II and you don't really have to take it to a mazda place to get the code(s) read.

You should be okay to drive it the 15 miles to the mazda shop.

I have a 1996 Chevy Blazer and the gas gauge is broken. Do you have any idea how many miles the car can go on one tank of gas?

I beleive you would have a 17 gallon gas tank, so if you get about 15-20 mpg, I'd say between 250-350 miles. I'd go with the 250 to be on the safe side.

Knocking noise when driving

could be the vanos making that crappy noise (which is safe and normal) or u may have a serious problem...cheapest thing to do is try a different oil/higher octane gas and see what happens, if it persists take it back in

Fail safe mode and rear lights message on at times

Usually Fail safe comes on when there is a problem with the sensors of the throttle and gas pedal have reporting problem to ECU. You need to have the car diagnosed to see the error codes and check which sensor has the problem. there are three sensors that do the job of reporting to ECU. Could be the throttle or Gas pedal

2002 odyssey injectors flooding

The owner's manual offers these tips on starting in cold weather. First, do not touch the gas pedal and crank the engine for no longer than 15 seconds. If no start, hold the gas pedal halfway down and crank for no longer than 15 seconds. If no start, hold gas pedal all the way down and crank for 15 seconds. If no start, hold gas pedal halfway down and crank for 15 seconds. During any one of the start attempts with the gas pedal part/all the way down, if the engine should start, slowly release the pedal so the engine will not race. Remember that fuel does not atomize as easily in cold weather and can be a problem.
