1 Make sure your radiator fans are coming on when AC is on
2 Check the thermostat to make sure it is opening
3 Check to see that radiator is circulating and has sufficient coolant mix
4 Make sure nothing blocking radiator air flow
Good Luck with your repair

Why does radiator fan work when air is on but not when heater is on?

Have you waited long enough?
Sometimes it can take 5 -10 minutes before it turns on while using heater.

Toyota Corrolla 1995. The heater does not work, I replaced the thermostat and have put a lot of antifreeze.

bleed cooling system, probably there is air trapped in the heater core preventing warm coolant to circulate into the heater core. try this
1 open radiator cap fill coolant and put heater in hi heat
2 start engine and wait until you see the coolant start to circulate
3 squeeze hose several times watching if coolant volume decrease
4 add more coolant and repeat 3 until coolant volume stays same or start overflowing.
5 check if heater giving off warm air or repeat 3 and 4 until warm air blows on heater.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
or find the coolant bleeder screw, do 1 and 2
open bleeder screw until coolant come out, do this several times until no air comes out when opening bleeder screw, fill coolant in radiator.

No heat/defrost 01 corolla

Sounds like you have air trapped in the heater core when you flushed the heater core. loosen the upper most heater core hose and run the engine untill coolant seeps out. Wait until the coolant has reached running temperature.

99 toyota corrolla hood latch is broken. Can't

There is a rachet right below the hood that you can reach from radiator grill.
Take a long thin screw driver, reach it and turn that rachet.
You will hear the "click" sound and the hood will pop open.

No heat 98 lincoln mark viii

sounds like you may just have an air column in the system.Try this,Remove the radiator cap, start the car, turn heat on high, wait for the car to reach normal operating temp, and add coolant as needed.(if you watch inside the radiator,as soon as the car reaches operating temp, the water level will drop,That is the time to add more)
