I was rearended and after that the auto shut down fuse started blowing as soon as i try to start it
What fuse number located where? photos work here,!''
with that , we can tell all possible ways.
which box, JB or PDC?
which fuse in what box. the under hood box>?
id let the other guys, Insurance fix this car, really, after all its all on his nickle. (GRIN)
PDC F20
this is called S100 feed.
s100 feeds the ASD and ECU. (and wires to same that can short)
fuses blow for a short, if the wire is shorted to ground
or the modules connected short.
or the wrong fuse, used, 20amp is correct not 10.
this fuse in under the hood in the PDC box.
and goes only 2 places, unless car was hacked, as many are this old.
fuse blow for a short on a power feed
and if there was no fuse the the wires catch fire.
fire near fuel, is never fun.
so the fuse blows.
and is a short. to ground on the fuse that blew.
no fuse number stated,
see pdc below tell me what fuse blew using the FSM
fuse box drawing. we can work form there.easyasd fuse blows when i try to start - 26182114-04vedhgfugfdfyrc0edesdha-4-3.jpggfugfdfyrc0edesdha-4-3.jpg" alt="26182114-04vedhgfugfdfyrc0edesdha-4-3.jpg" class="h_mi" />
the S100 wire yellow is not a long run.
it runs just 2 places, PCM and ASD.
if its not F20 blowing , nows that time to say.
i do not have photos off all jeep fuse lids.
and are very hard to read even on car.
so exact location of fuses, or the F number is the best way to go, and as you see
the FSM uses only F numbers.
my wild useless guess it the collision damaged
the harness near the PDC.
or at PCM.
