Question about 2000 Chevrolet S-10
Hi i have a 2000 chevy s10 and I am haveing a problem with the starter staying engaged. Even when I turn the truck off and take the key out the starter will not stop. The motor shuts off but the starter stays on the only way I can get it to stop is to disconnect the battery.I am thinking it is the ignition switch can anyone help.
There is a solinoid that enguages the starter it is stuck tap the round cylinder that is atached to the top of the starter it should disenguage the solinoid if not try to hit it harder. dont beat it up though. it also may need a new starter.
