So when I bought the car the lady thought the back window was broken, I took the door panel off and noticed the window was there and in great shape but the motor wouldn't bring the window up. Bought a new motor and it only works going down, took off the driver back door panel and hooked up the old motor and it works fine up and down, then tested the switch and that works too. Driver master control works for all windows expect the back passenger window the one I'm having issues with . The weird thing is, that Windows switch works going down but not up. confusing right? Anyone have a wiring schematic? Or ideas on how to get both switches to work and for the window to go up?
Michael, Inside the window switch are copper contacts that do wear, corrode and become defective. the switch still could be defective even though it works for going down.
Test the switch with a DVOM or test light.

Possible the toggle button for the window is damaged . I've had this happen on couple of cars that the window would go down and then I would have to mess around the toggle to get it to go back up them one day just failed . Swap out the switch with the other door to see if the toggle was the issue and it was .
On the other hand I've also has a window motor that was able to lower the window but could not raise it .
Try the swap out first it's the easiest to swap the toggles over
All very common on electric windows
faulty window switch at the non working door
or the master cluster
you can spend hours fixing the one faulty switch and checking connections of the wires
or replace with a known working master or individual switch

I've taken all the door panels off expect the passenger side. Left passenger back (LPB) the switch works great, have tested all the connections on it, nothing looks bad. I've taken off the switch off the right driver back side (RDB) witch works awesome and tested it on the LPB and it only went down. I've tested the old and new motor on the RDB and they both work like a champ. The master switch works, took it apart and tested the circuit on every switch and it looks good. Nothing broken. I think there's a wire broken between the driver side and the LPB. But I have no wireing schematics on it. Its just weird that the LPB and RDB switches only make it go down, as the master can't move it at all. But it snowed all day so hoepfuly tomorrow will be nice. Gonna try and tackle it again all day.
K, so I found the schematics and figured out what wire was bad. Then used a ohm reader to find out where the wire was broken, it was the wire that connects the master switch to inside the car under the driver dash. Eneded up connecting a new wire and ran it threw the door to the inside sealing up everything and jumped the connection. Basicly left the bad wire and wired a new wire to bypass it. Now it works great. Master switch for that window works. And the switch on the window works. Now I can send back the new motor and get my money back
