Question about 2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
My 2003 mercedes kompressor C200 key is not functioning properly.I can get it to open the car using the button but it does not lock. Would I have to replace the key? How much would it cost?
The key's are special order and they are fairly expensive. Test the voltage in your remote batteries. They should be 3 volts. These systems are very voltage senstive and require a good battery to operate properly. I'm assuming you have the original batteries in the remote now and it is 6 plus years old. These batteries generally last 3 years so it is definatly time if you have not replaced them yet!
