Question about 1988 Chevrolet K1500
We have an 88 chevy pickup that starts and runs okay for a few minutes to a short while then it just dies like it has run out of gas. It starts right back up within a few minutes and drives for a short distance and does it again. We have checked the fuel pump and it is working, We have replaced the fuel filter. We were told that it could be the brain box but not sure. Anyone have any suggestions? We were told that it may be more than just the brain box but truck is not worth dumping thousands of dollars into. Again any suggestions?
Do a test to see if the coil is ok and check the red and white wire coming from the back of the distributor for corrosion if those fail test the injectors for pulse

Fuel pump relay may be failing when it gets hot. Swap relay with horn or ac clutch relay.
