It is in the pipe between the aircleaner housing and the inlet manifold.

I have a Suzuki Jimny automatic 2007. It has 3 buttons to select gear type. None of these are now working.

Start by looking at the fuse box... check all the fuses. Next possibility is a relay.

The Suzuki Jimny Transmission Control Module (TCM) is an electronic circuit component that controls gear shift, TCC lock-up and idle-up according to the signal from each sensor. It is a microcomputer consisting of an IC, transistor, diode, etc. It is installed behind glove box.

1. Ignition switch
2. Transmission range sensor
3. Input shaft speed sensor
4. Output shaft speed sensor (A/T VSS)
5. Shield wire
6. Vehicle speed sensor (VSS)
7. Transmission fluid temperature sensor
8. Shift solenoid-A (Shift solenoid No.1)
9. Shift solenoid-B (Shift solenoid No.2)
10. Shift solenoid-C (Shift solenoid No.3)
11. Shift solenoid-D (Shift solenoid No.4) 12. TCC solenoid (Lock-up solenoid)
13. "O/D" cut switch
14. "O/D OFF" lamp
15. Monitor connector No.2
16. DLC
17. To ECM
18. To A/C
19. To brake lamp switch
20. To main relay
21. Terminal arrangement of TCM coupler

Swivel ball assembly

welcome to USA forum
we dont have Jimnys here, not a one.
so cant wax too smart , if in EU? try a EU forum> on suzuki?
or Jimnys were called Samurai , long ago and for sure not sold here in 2006, not by a mile.
swival ball, you working CV's
Constant velocity Joints on the front left axle.
what are you doing. say the job first.

1: needs boots only (not hood but CV boots)
2: rebuilding one axle by self
3: fitting (R&R) a rebuilt new axle to car.

no books here on Jimny, not a one, here.
no online either here , for same reasons.

we have Vitara,s here, 89-2004 and ends.

here we are fitting those.

Where is the baromic sensor fitted

the MAP, sensor, right? where is it?
why do you ask, curious? , someone stole it?
or got DTC errors that say, MAP dead. ?
why not just post the symtoms or buy the FSM and read it like above post. but above post is for USA cars, and there are no Jimny here, at all. and none on the above site for the same reasons
this is a USA forum not UK or European, it only covers USA cars.
why 2, why not tell country , engine controls run and work different on all countries (due to smog laws, etc)

the ignitor in most suzuki's moved to 2 places back in 1990s (late)
to the COP coil (DOHC engine) or to the ECU. itself.
my 96 still has a fire wall 4 port Ignitor J18 engine. but was moved in 97.

where is your jimny, (no address,) just a country,.
suzuki has like 56 engines and 95 markets. so.....
in your case we are 1 engine, and 95 markets.

why3, why ask for easter egg hunts? nobody here can answer.
post your VIN, then we can, (put xxxx at end for privacy)

My Suzuki jimny stoped whiledriving

many suzuki have 2 baros, mine has 3.

one for altitude, inside ecu,

one for map TBI engine, (map sensor main 108 fails )

one for EGR map, to test EGR only. (my G16b has it)

we dont have 1.3 Jimny's here so can look it up for you.

but the FSM for your car (book) has this.

the P0108

is the main engine map sensor. (using usa fed rules for OBD2)

yours is EOBD rules. (im clueless with those)

that is used to calculate all air flow through the engine

it's output is stuck high,,

it's unplugged is my guess.

our map does 3.9V with the vacuum hose pulled. or just key on.

over 3.9v is illegal voltage and is bad map or unplugged.

when it goes to near 0v.volts at full vacuum 29"

this page may match your map for all voltages and states.

http://www.fixkick.com/sensors/my-map.html

that is my best idea here , lacking non USA books,

Have 2003 suzuki aerio won't idle after temp light goes out

the engine can not idle right for vast reasons.
wont idle, does that mean
1: stalls.?
2: or wont regulate, hot.
3: or both.
So , no DTCs, no cell lamp glowing , running?
you replaced some very expensive parts, by guessing?
checking fuel pressure costs $20 for the tool.
do you have a $50 scan tool? if yes, you can scan all sensors.
and see if the sensors all look good. do they?
did you buy a used maf ,or new suzuki maf $$$ or the china clone.
most of the clones are no good.
best is , used, and from Cardone.(rebuilt by pros)
the China clones , read wrong, the ECU does not know its wrong
because it is not stuck at 0 or 5v. so assumes its right and is wrong.
with a scan tool you can see the MAF read wrong. do you?
what i do is plot TPS angle, RPM and MAF output and log that.
then at home read the values.

the #1 reason for stalls is leaking EGR. ever clean and service it?

Suzuki jimny 2004 model shuddering or death wobble

After searching on the net we saw a blog that said in rrsponse to having the rattle to ring the suzuki customer service hot line so we did. Found out that our jimny had a VIN number that was part of a recall that is still current. We booked in to get the rattle fixed at no cost they said for 12 Jan 2015. However today as we were driving along the steering column broke completely. We got the jimny towed to the same suzuki dealer and will be fixed free of cost next week. Moral of the story is ring Suzuki customer care and don't put it off!

I have a 2003 suzuki Aerio S, the code MAF came up when they tested it. If it doesnt work after the mechanic cleaned it, how much is going to cost to fix the problem?

The mass airflow sensor shouldn't be that expensive and usually they are easy to replace so there shouldn't be much labor involved. I''m guessing less that $100 should cover it.

Hi, i have a suzuki jimny compact 4wd suv, 1.3 litre DOHC petrol engine. it was ok , then this symptom arose. oil and oil/ air filters replaced a few months ago. sometimes it develops a sort of air /fuel...

It is possibly a Camshaft Sensor problem, it usually happen when the engine is very hot most likely at 80-90 *C the camshaft sensor failed and the ECU cannot recieve a signal from the camshaft sen. causing delay in ignition spark and fuel injection, or misfiring..
