Question about 1997 Buick LeSabre
Im working on a 97 Lesabre with the 3800. The first time i scanned it it was missing on 3 and not on any others....swapped wires with 6 and 3 ... still missed on 3. Put new plug in 3 the next day and rescanned car and now shows miss on 6 only. The wire was what looked to me to be arcd damaged ( it was black and sooty) where the plug goes to coil pack. So now focused on 6. Swapped 6 and 2 and now misses on both 6 and 2. When I swap the wires back it goes back to missing on 6 only. Any ideas why it sent me to 3 first? I plan to try a new wire on 6 and inspect the plug next.
Change all plugs an wires if you still get the misfire on #3or#6 the coil pack is parabley bad
