Question about 1993 Chevrolet Lumina

Is the check engine light on? If it is you should take it to an autoparts store and have the fault codes read. Most do it for no charge. It sounds like this could be caused by a faulty throttle position sensor, dirty fuel injectors, a dirty air filter, or a clogged or damaged air intake hose. Hope this helps.
