The engine and the automatic transmission in this vehicle are computer controlled and in most cases when a fault occurs a fault code is stored in the memory of the computer control module. There are exception to this, such as the Mass Airflow Meter and fuel pressure problems. What must be done is to have all the basic testing done such as a scan of the system for fault codes as well as a check with a live data scanner tool for engine functions that are not within range of normal, a trained technician is required to know what is correct and what isn't, then based on careful diagnostics done from a factory repair manual the correct part is replaced or the wiring repaired or the computer replaced (known as the PCM), which is very rarely the problem. Other basic checks must be done as well such as mechanical problems with the engine as well as engine state of tune and mileage on the engine. The aiming of headlights is strictly governed by the country or state you reside in and is covered by the road ordinance in force there. Take your vehicle to an authorised center that can adjust your headlights and supply you with proof that the work has been carried out according to the requisite regulations. You will save yourself a lot of bother and prevent possible legal problems.

When I turn on the heat in my 2004 mazda mpv the front air vents blow heat but the rear air vents are blowing cold. I have adjusted every setting is there something I am overlooking.

There are two adjustment points (screws). For example left headlight: you will see one point near the end of left wing, at bottom side through a wing hole. This is for vertical plane headlight beam adjustment (up-down). Another one point is against water radiator side. This is for horizontal plane headlight beam adjustment (left-right).

If you look at the front of the headlight, there are actually a couple of screws around the edge. These are your adjustment screws.

Good Afternoon. I have a 2004 S60R & had to adjust the headlights recently. The adjustment is easy, but requires a small socket wrench. I forget the exact size of the adjustment bolt, but it's close to 1/4". It's located directly behind each headlight & is fairly easty to reach. Adjust the lights at night on a flat section of road (you'll need a flashlight to see the adjustment bolt when doing this). Hope this helps. David
