Fixing Car That Cranks But Doesn Start Up

I have no idea what a skoda octavia is, but I know brakes are brakes. You have 2 bolts holding the pads in a slide, the bolts have threads only at the top, the rest is the slide, pull those bolts, if that doesn't release the slide, take out the 2 bolts holding the caliper on there, pull the slide out the other way. replace the pads, make sure they go back in the way came out. Put the bolts back on, tighten them up, you should be all set. The pad thickness sensor is just a ground, when the wire hits metal, it turns on a light, It should go off when it is not touching anything. You should have squealers on there too, they give an audible screech telling you it is time for some new pads. Hope this helps.
