The tripometer for my 2000 oldsmobile silhouette resets automatic

The tripometer for my 2000 oldsmobile silhouette resets every time I start the vehicle. Normally, I would not care. However the gas guage does not function so I use the tripometer to determine when to fill up with gas.

Hey folks, I found the battery at 10 volts. The alternator was charging at 14 volts. After replacing the battery, the tripometer functioned.

It does. Did you hit some one? I have never replaced one. Most likely a bad pump.

Air bag light on

On my 2000 Oldsmobile Silhouette, the air bag light occasionally comes on. What I found is that under the drivers seat, there are some electrical connections. Make sure all of those are tight. Make sure you have nothing under the drivers seat pushing on the cables.
