Question about 2002 Buick Century
Are you trying to replace a head gasket? if you are, I would pick up Haynes auto repair books and it will give you step by step with pictures. Its a great investment to have for the next repair. replacing a head gasket require tools and time, for being 1st time and little mechanical incline it will not be one or two days affair. Lots of work but it can be done.

Some are in the inlet to the evaporator and some could be in the condenser line. You can get a new orifice tube on autozone for $5 - 20

There is a single screw located inside the glove box (on the left side) that needs to be removed. Then just carefully pull out the plastic dash as it is only secured by pushpins. Then remove the 2 screws holding the radio, and unplug the antenna and wiring harness, and it's out.

SOURCE: 95 Buick Century dash removal?
you should not have to remove the dash to install a new radio all you have to do is remove the trim around the radio and then take out the bolts that hold the radio in and remove the wires from the back and also if there is a Walmart or Radio Shack near you get an installation kit and you plug it from the plugs from your old radio and it is alot easier to wire it that way

P0446 Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit Malfunction
The evaporative emission control system checks to make sure there are no leaks in the lines that run from the gas tank to the charcoal canister and up to the engine. It also checks to make sure the gas cap is sealing correctly.
It may just be that the cap was not on tight and the code was tripped.
A dusty environment can also clog the vent line and cause this code.
Have the code cleared and see if it comes back. Some auto parts stores like Auto Zone can read and clear the codes for you.
Hope this helps.
