No battery problem either

My guess is that after it ran out of gas, the key was in the forward position for a while and you unknowingly interrupted the antitheft system. Try to reset it.

RELEARN PROCEDURE:
Turn the key on, with the engine OFF.
Try to start the engine, then release the key to ON, Engine will not start.
Watch the security telltale, after about 10 mins, it will turn OFF.
Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds.
Repeat steps 1 through 4 two more times for a total of 3 cycles/30 minutes. You must turn the ignition OFF for 30 seconds before attempting to start the vehicle after the 3 cycles. Then start the engine .

1993 chevy suburban cranks but wont start, no injection pulse

Have you looked at fuel pump and fuel filter? Turn key to first position and have someone near fuel tank. They should hear the pump cycle.

My 1999 honda odyssey started then stopped , thought it was out of petrol , put petrol in , car turns over but wont fire , any help ,

If it did run out of fuel, and apparently that is possible if you immediatly put some in, you may have to cycle the key on and off to get the fuel up to the engine again. You should be able to hear the fuel pump cut in and run for about 3 seconds when you first turn the key to the "run" position, and then stop. You could remove the gas cap, and have someone put their ear to it while you turn the key. If you don't hear it run, it may be the fuel relay switch if you're lucky, or the fuel pump if you're not.

If oil pressure sending unit is bad will it stop fuel pump from working on a 2000 blazer

You should never try a pump without it being in fuel. It uses fuel for lubrication when it is running. If the vehicle doesn't start at all when you first crank it over it is not the oil pressure sender. If you just put the pump in you might want to turn the key off and on several times to cycle the pump then try to start it. If it doesn't start then check fuel filter or check fuel pressure at fuel rail in engine compartment. Is fuel pump cycling at all when the key is turned on? There is a problem with ignition switches on some of these blazers.

Car turns over then wont start unless wait a few min and try again then starts with no problem

try turning the key off and on two or three times to cycle the fuel pump, if that works i would say to first change the fuel filter, if that dont work ,check the fuel pump pressure at the fuel rail..the pump may be going bad

The van will not crank. We suspect there may be an automatic cutoff on the electric fuel pump.

if the fuel pump has a cutoff the engine will still crank do you mean it wont start but cranks over ? check for spark at plugs if so get yourself a fuel pressure gauge at auto parts store there is a schrader valve on the fuel rail with a black plastic cap screw on the fuel gauge cycle the key on and off slowly and see if you have fuel pressure you could also listen in the filler neck for the pump whine when you cycle the key it should turn on for a few seconds then turn off most likely the pump is bad its 12 years old and probably about 100,000 miles and always change the fuel pump, filters and the relay at the same time

Were can i locate the fuel regulator on my 2002 explore. change the fuel pump explore still wont start. still acts like its not getting fuel

before you do anything else , scan your vehicle with an OBD 2 scanning tool . If you don't get any codes: make sure your fuel pump cycles on for a few seconds when you turn the key from off to on, (you can hear it huming}...if it does then replace the in line fuel filter. if your fuel pump doesn't cycle for a few seconds when the key is turned on, check your fuel cut off (vehicle rollover )safety switch and reset it if necessary. finally , check the fuel pump relay circuit.

Running fine then now wont start, fuel pump or will the fuel relay module cause the car to get no gas

More likely the fuel pump.........check for power to the pump on the gray wire at the fuel pump connector at the tank.(wires from the tank)You should see a prime cycle voltage as you turn the key on...if the key has been off 15 seconds. If you see a test light, light.......change the fuel pump.
Tip....a lot of relays are the same in the relay center....switch the fuel pump relay for one of the (same) others to test it if needed.

Before you do this....sit in the car and turn on the key to run.....not start.......do you hear the pump do it's prime cycle?
Total silence means.......in 99% of cases...a new fuel pump is needed.
If you hear it.......no pump should be needed....look elsewhere first.
